Hi, I'm new to this site but not new to depression. Looking back I think I have suffered from depression all of my life, finally went to therapy 10 years ago and started anti depressants 8 years ago. I had success with paxil for quite a while but am now searching for something that works. I have recently started cymbalta 60mg and feel ok, but it is too soon to tell. I truly feel cursed to suffer from this, and my daughter (17) has suffered from OCD for years, although after 2 years of therapy it is somewhat under control. I'll be glad to talk to people who understand.

hello and welcome to psycho babble. there have been lots of conversations started here about Cymbalta - with good and bad reports, it looks like. "Your mileage may vary" is the thing where meds are concerned, everyone is different in how they respond and what side effects are experienced.
welcome to the community.
