Hello,
I am a new member but I have been reading for a long time on and off and have found great help with meds and just general coping. I am bipolar II and just need some serious help these days. It is a LONG story, but I will post to the social board so I can get the feedback from anybody who is willing to read the whole saga that has led me to where I am now.
Greetings to all Newbies!!

Greetings Karen Kay....I do believe that I will call you beautiful. Your post made me giggle...not alot does that these days except my sweet nine month old nephew. As you may have gleaned, I am still under my rock and can't seem to find my way out. But I will keep trying.
Last week I wrote a LONG explaination of the current state in which I find myself to post to Social Babble and lost the whole thing before it posted. It took more energy than I have to write the story of my so-called life so I have not retyped it. Tonight I will give it another go...this time I will write it in a word doc and copy it from there to avoid the danger. I think that it is important to me to have a support group like this. My friends and family are more supportive and patient than I probably deserve...but they don't understand...they can't understand. My father is the only one who ever really understood the darkness that depression causes and he lost the battle seven years ago and chose to take his own life. I do not want to follow in his footsteps but sometimes I feel that it is inevitable.
Any way, thanks for the warm greeting. Look for me on social and some of the other boards!!

i've written novels (and once (only once) i saved one to word and it was 10 pages long!)that i've lost! and my writing is just too importnat to lose like that (not that everyone else's isn't too important to lose of course).. it just stinks!
i saw your post on social! it was very well written! i'm in awe (honestly, no joke).. and you're a bourbon gal too! i may be in love! will you marry me and buy me bourbon>? pretty please? with cherries on top (bourbon dipped cherries of course!).... awaiting your reply and you must know i don't propose often)
don't fret dear.. things change everyday.. and we're very very VERY supportive here... so, if they aren't changing yet, we'll be here to listen! and when they do change imagine what life will be like!
i'm still waiting for my knight in shining armour.... or, i'm waiting to change my thinking so i don't need one... hmmm.... what do you think about that?
i'll be looking for you, but i mostly frequent social.. take care dear... it seems we have quite a bit in common though. but, beware my sense of humor! it has a 'bite' to it :)
take care doll!
