hello, i am new to the group. i am 25yrs old and have been taking lexapro for the past 6 months for post traumatic stress disorder. The medication has worked well for me, but after a period of a few weeks of having some difficulty I have increased my dosage and may consider trying something different if that doesn't work. Any helpful information is appreciated.

Welcome to babble! There are lots of great boards here - there is an entire thread on the Social board devoted to "lexapro-ers". The medicine board is a great source for info too.
Read a lot and jump in whenever you like. There are no private conversations here - we're all here for help and to help each other.
Nice to meet you!

Here's a link to the right thread. I've never tried to do this, so if it doesn't work, um, we'll figure it out, OK??

I'll check back to see how you're doing. Again, welcome!

sorry it's taken me a while to say hi to you! sometimes it takes me a while :)
welcome to babble! i hope you enjoy this place as much as i do. i'm certain you will. but, keep in mind that many of the wonderful and helpful posters aren't able to post on this particular board (though there are many wonderful people here too!).
so, i think your question would get many, many more responses on the psycho-babble board, which deals specifically with meds.
but, just a bit of info.. i will be 25 very soon (yahoo! a quarter of a century, does that make you feel old?) and also suffer from ptsd, among other things.
take care dear and i hope to see your name many times in the future, in many places on this site... again, i can't begin to explain how helpful the wonderful people here have helped me!
bye bye,
kk
