Resting heart rate

My resting heart rate is about 70 beats/min. Is that a little high? I just counted 72 beats/min.

I'm all hot and flushed, but I'm pretty sure I don't have a fever. My head feels weird, like I'm in a fog or something.

Is something wrong with me? Could it be my new low carb diet? I only had 10.5g of carbohydrates today and 539 kcal.

Maybe it's from sleeping too much...I slept approx. 12 hours.

I hope I'm not dying. Am I dying? Is it just anxiety?

Your pulse is normal. But eat some carbs the calories are way too low which will lower your metabolism and you'll loss less wt and slower. Love Phillipa

I wish my pulse were lower. I should exercise more, maybe that will bring it down.

I measured my blood pressure at one of those machines in drug stores, and I got 119/77 and my pulse was 94. That's a bit high right?

I should eat less salt maybe, lose weight and exercise more. I want my blood pressure to be around 100 mmHg.

Deneb those machines aren't accurate a lot of the time. The old fashion blood pressure cuff and stesescope are reliable as the person taking it hears with their ears the highest and lowest number. The highest and first is systolic and the lowest last noise is diastolic and that is the most important number it shows the vessels when they are relaxed. Love Phillipa

Deneb, you're fine! Dont worry. I'm young, at a healthy weight, and in fairly good shape (I take dance classes 3-4 times a week), and my pulse rate is always around 85-90. Just natural variation between people, I think.
