In December, you wrote that you weren't feeling well physically, that you were going to see a dietician, etc.
How are you? Have you been seeing the dietician? Is it helping? Did you start drinking lots of water, and did it help?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Hi ShortE
It means a lot to me that you were thinking of me. Thanks so much!
I am feeling better physically though have still not lost any weight. I haven't really gained either. I haven't been to see the dietician but my diet is consistant and good (except for this past weekend where I went on an emotional binge). I drink up to 2L of water a day.
My biggest problem now and one that I don't know what more to do about is water/fluid retention. On a good day I can get my wedding ring on up to my knuckle. My hands and feet/toes swell up all the time and feel spongy and tingly. I have taken a diuretic to no avail.
Other than that, I cannot really complain about how I feel physically at this point. Any little gripes that I do have are probably side effects (Cymbalta).
Other than my extra weight, I can only attribute so much of my not feeling well to the meds.
At least my head is doing sort of ok.
Thanks again for thinking of me. I am truly touched.

Sabrina, that is so weird, this water retention thing. You didn't cut salt out of your diet, did you? That can sometimes cause water retention. Dieting too drastically can cause the same effect. A lack of mineral could, I guess, do the same. Perhaps a mineral supplement would help? What a drag!
You could sure try drinking more water. 2 litres is the basic amount we are supposed to drink. As long as you are peeing, it's ok.
Anyway, glad your head is ok.
And you're welcome!

Whilst in hospital my thyroid was checked again. It is hypo. I have been give Altroxin.
I am so excited because with my thyroid functions regulating, I may just start to lose some of my excess weight.
In the mean time I have decided to see a therapist to help my with my shocking self image.
All in all, I am quite proud of myself.
Just thought I would let all know.
