I don't want to lose Psycho babble

Posted by Jai Narayan on October 13, 2004, at 20:31:04

I am sad about this legal problem and I don't want to lose PB because of this.
I am worried and sad about this newest attack on Psycho babble.
This seems serious.

Hi Jai. I wouldn't worry too much. I don't think that there is a legal problem (unless it is one of an anonymous poster being libel for making false and unsubstantiated allegations).

I agree that the poster attempts to make it sound serious, but I really wouldn't take it too seriously.

thank you for your comment...:) (nm)

I agree - I have had time to mull this over, and I think this poster was a troublemaker who has no basis to base their opinion on whether our Babble community is legal and responsible.
We ain't dead yet.

I agree with the others. It's all fluff. No worries, trust me.

Over the years there have been many folks who have made explicit their desire to eliminate PB. I don't like everything that goes on here by a long shot, but I also understand that it is a tremendous source of support for many, many people (including me).

I never have understood why someone would want to take away a much-needed resource such as this.

I don't know which post/poster you all are talking about because I pretty much only go to 2000 and Grief, so at least I can't be PBC'd for incivil behavior toward someone (I don't think!).

It's just that it has all gone down before, and when you're here long enough, you'll see the patterns emerge. Plus, when I started here it was a MUCH smaller place, and patterns were easier to see. And, people who just wanted to stir things up were much easier to see, also.

I'm with y'all, I don't want to lose the Babbles either.

Shar

It's good to hear from you Shar....: ) (nm)
