Very Sad

Posted by Glydin on July 25, 2004, at 15:38:35

It's the anniversary of my Mother's death. Today is a day to feel like a old person who misses their Mom. That's really all I can be today.

There are times when someone just noticing makes such a difference. Today is better. Anniversaries are tough.

Your cookies sound so yummy.....I can almost taste them.
I would love to have that kind of a community around me.
Where we come over to eachothers house with cookies and tea....my that would heal the world so much.
You are such a sweetie.

I'm so sorry. My Mom died a year ago December. I feel her with me very strongly at times, and I imagine you feel your Mom's presence as well. They are no doubt doing just fine, but... If only we knew where they were, how they are, eh? It would make it so much easier to take.

Thank you for your sweet words. I'm so sorry to hear of your Mother's death. It's so very difficult. There are no words that really describe it - feeling a bit like one of the ropes that tied you to the dock has been cut and you bobble just a little rockier in the water ---

I'm doing better. The anniversary date is always so hard. I tried for a while to tough it out --- now I just allow it. I don't like it, but it's better to just let it happen.
