I weep for the tiny children who give their teeth for the study on Stontium 90....the radio active particulate that will kill their tiny bodies.
I cry out.I am in pain because of a nuclear plant to the south only 5 miles away.
They want to do an uprate of 20% to an old plant.
It will be the death of me and many others....I am so sad.
I have been crying for a while....My eyes are swollen...I am so sad for our human race...I am so sad I am on this planet and have to experience this greed verses people's health...why is life so cruel?
I just don't get this place?I am distraught.
I have never understood why greed is more important that lives?

Jai sweetheart! Please try to pray for change in a way that makes you a tool for change, not a bucket for the pain and wrongs of the world. I don't want you holding onto all of that. It's too much sadness. Let it flow over and away from you. Don't cling to it. Picket, march, phone your senator, scream into a megaphone, pray, meditate, ....but don't be a bucket. :-)
Loving your sweet sensitive self.

And knowing that there are wonderful people like us who care, and are motivated to do something about this helps put my mind at ease dear. I empathize with you. I feel your hurt and it becomes my hurt as well. And it doesn't seem so impossible any longer. Just knowing that others hurt because of this makes me feel better. And it's not that I'm angry and want to destroy something, it's that I'm sad. Jai, I'm glad we are this way. It makes life worth living dear. And there are so many other people like this. SO MANY others. Find them. And have a sit-in. And meditate. And watch birds. And quiet your mind. But know that you are SOOOOO very special and that you make a difference in my life everyday. Thank you.

Jai~~~don't give your power up to those powers that be.......March, make phone calls, write letters, speak up and out! I do! And everytime I see a small victory that I helped bring about, I know larger ones are coming and the people will perservere and we will change things!!! I've been an activist for so long and I'll die an activist. Don't carry your grief so close to you that it destroys you.......carry it out front so you can see it and it will add resolve to your will to change things! xoxoxox

Oh Jai, so sensitive Jai. What a gift. And what a burden. I liked Emmy's metaphor about not being a bucket. I wish there were more people on this planet who cared for the earth and its inhabitants. Please take care of yourself so that you may use your caring to make a change--start the pond rippling and who knows how far out it will ripple?
