I wish to seek spiritual guidance from a Rabbi. And this will be the second time I've called this Rabbi for an appointment. The first time was five or so years ago.
But I feel sort of bad about bothering him when not only am I not a member of his synagogue, but I'm not even Jewish. My husband said that if I feel bad about taking his time, to just notice the community bulletin board while I'm waiting to see him or on my way out and see if they're raising money for anything. Then just mail a donation a few days later.
Is there proper etiquette for seeking counsel from a leader of another faith?

(((Dinah))),
Can you separate the man from his occupation and still seek the answers?
note: I seeked out the counsel of a Penticostal Minister who's son I had known in junior-high. This was while I was attending a private religious high school at age 16. I found it informative. He seemed OK, too. Sadly, I didn't accept the authenticity of the evangelical message. We met to discuss bible questions only three or four times.
