Please keep in your thoughts and/or prayers the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Madrid (Spain). More than 190 dead, 1400+ injured, most of them students and workers, including several latin american immigrants and 3 US citizens.

I think it goes without saying that these kind of requests are taken to heart by all readers whether or not they reply to the post. It is so very difficult to reply with meaningful words, so we send our prayers and thoughts to the world because this tragedy affects us all.

that could have been children of my friends

*This random killing is so difficult. Any kind of killing is painful...for those that kill as well the dead and maimed. I am so sad that we can't develope beyond taking lives for revenge. This life is so precious and special. Each one of us has worked so hard to be on the earth and have a body. It grieves me deeply.
I will send my prayers and deep feelings of grief.
Amen.
