Dr. Bob, I wish this site wasn't restricted to "religious faith." I don't "serve or worship God or the supernatural." It would be more diverse and interesting (to me personally) to see what belief systems people have that maybe I could benefit from. Tough site I guess. I have seen some strange ramblings and some religious prostyltizing. The ratio of Christians to other religious faiths is staggering. I'd love to see thoughts and ideas that help people live with our psychological/psychiactric challenges on a daily basis.

An agnostic

But it seems that when I tell of *my* experiences or *my* beliefs I get a PBC (Please Be Civil). So I have avoided posting to this board for the most part.

Belief systems that don't have to do with faith, you mean? That should be appropriate for Psycho-Social-Babble...

My faith practices run from the darker mystical to christian depending on where I am on the bipolar continium. or when manic i do things that cause me guilt, then i run for forgiveness, in the midst of depression, only to get 'high' again and go out an 'sin'. I thought that this would go away with the psych drugs(depakote, desyrel, ambien) but I still want to go out and freak with anyone.help!!!

anyone have any near death experiences? That would be anexciting conversation...What I haven't figured out is why(??)is it when you read of all these near death experiences, everyone goes to Heaven? I would think that not everyone who has had one of these experiences goes to heaven.. but they all seem to end up there..

I understand your frustrations with certain Christians that ramble on about things that maybe you don't understand. So I don't blame you for how you feel. I am a Christian and I can't stand to be preached at. I would like to be talked to not preached at. I don't know too much about biblicle issues. But it's not what you know so much as what you believe. I believe that I am healed and the mental issues I deal with are just symptoms.
