a simple cure for faith exhaustion

I just read the thread, Re: Rationalism and Philosophy « celesteloveage. It took most of my morning, and I feel exhausted.

I think the simple people of the earth can give wisdom to the learned. Even, "out of the mouths of babes". http://scriptures.lds.org/query?words=%22out+of+the+mouth+of+babes%22&newsearch=ok&OT=1&NT=1&BM=1&DC=1&PGP=1&SH=1&TX=1&SM=1&search.x=30&search.y=6

I am grateful my mother taught me simple faith when I was a babe. I am thankful she read me all the Bible story books, you know the blue ones with the pretty pictures you still see in some Doctors offices. I am glad that I grew up believing in the ancient prophets. Who is a prophet? He is God's representative here on the earth, the one to whom God communicates his will for the people of that time. When a prophet writes the words dictated to him by God, those words become God's literal words. I believe the Bible is the word of God "as far as it is translated correctly". I also believe the Book of Mormon is the word of God, http://scriptures.lds.org/a_of_f/1/7#7 and I know it was translated correctly. They both bear the simple testimony with support to eachother, that there is a living God. Two witnesses are better than one, and three better than two. The third witness whom I believe in is Joseph Smith. I believe Joseph Smith learned more about God and faith in five minutes than all the philosophers of the earth to that time and since. We have the choice to believe or not to believe. I believe in the Joseph Smith story, and if anyone wants to read it for themself, here is is.
