1. I drove myself to the doctors today
2. I will be volunteering soon
3. I signed up to take a class this fall
4. my new cute aqua colored t-shirt
5. Just got back from vacation and it was great
6. good weather today
7. went for a nice refreshing walk
8. got some neat books and videos from the library
9. babble
10. owls (because I saw one for the first time in person at the zoo a few months ago, and I think they are the bomb diggity)

What a nice looking list. Let's see how far I get.
1. Went away with a friend for a short vacation, and indulged our love of books. Read 6 books in 5 days between us, with time off for museums, the zoo, listening to music, and visiting her family.
2. I walked so much that I got a couple of blisters. So much for my coach potato status.
3. Bought some nice smelling bath products while I was away. Now I just have to get dirty so I can use them.
4. My T called me back when I asked her to (she was on vacation).
5. My husband missed me. I missed him. Even my cat missed me, so she says. You can never tell with a cat, though. She was probably just trying to wrangle more catnip out of me.
6. I felt no fear being in a city that was new to me, at any time. Just exhilaration.
7. The weather cooperated (yes, that's on my list. I'm PartlyCloudy, after all.)
8. I put on some makeup today. Haven't done that in ages. Even mascara.
9. I plan to cook dinner tonight. Also haven't done that for a while, have not felt up to the challenge, or been interested in attempting it.
10. Coming home to multiple magazines waiting for me to read them - I love it.Whew, I made it. Wasn't even that hard.

8. i think that most of my perennials will live through the heat.

1. i was up at 4:00 a.m. on Monday to go to work and i heard something that sounded a little like my dog, Lita....upon investigation i realized that it was an owl.....crept out on my back porch and IT WAS SITTING IN A TREE RIGHT OVER MY HEAD!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
it called two more times and then glided off, soundlessly, towards the creek.

Thanks for welcome - it was a huge relief to return and have so many friends waiting for me - it would seem that I belong here for the foreseeable future. Not a bad thing, either.

10. I can read again. I read for 60 minutes straight, just now
9. A lady at work remembered my name
8. Lumber for the new room downstairs only cost 94 dollars
7. My bladder infection is clearing up
6. My kitty jumped on my lap earlier, purring and expecting affection
5. I finished 2 l of cranberry juice and didn't puke
4. I made it through 1 entire morning without caffeine. By 1pm I felt ill (more ill than with the infection alone, so I indulged)
3. I had a dozen ripe [cherry] tomatoes of various colors (yellow and red) to make an amuse bouche for dinner
2. There's a half gallon of cranberry juice left with my name on it!!
1. I got ready for work in 10 minutes (h woke me up an hour too late- yikes!), was 5 minutes late, and didn't even freak out!hooooooot!!!
