Throwing away stillettoes and Vera Wang dress.

Posted by fayeroe on June 6, 2008, at 18:00:52

My self-esteem is so low right now that I am getting rid of everything pretty in the house. Not really, but I sure feel like it.

My life is in the ditch right now. And I can't seem to care about pulling it out.

Bad Friday.

but the important thing is that you're still here, sharing your ups (and downs) with us on this board. We'll be here even when your Vera Wang dress has forsaken you.

Now maybe you can find just one teensy weensy bit of brightness to your day? Or if it's utterly hopeless, perhaps plan your day tomorrow so that a piece of happiness will go BONK and you won't be able to ignore it.

sorry you got the blues. I was eating blue potato chips a while ago, while looking at a black dog catalog. That was a depressing snack!

Sitting here, at my desk, in one shoe and a coke by the keyboard shows me that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and "you know who" never gives you more than you can handle.

For the first one, I've never believed that damned thing. Smashing my ankle certainly (90s) hurt so much that I was begging for someone to kill me.

For othe second one, I just wish "you know who" didn't have so damned much faith in me!

Made it through four hours of the night. The rest was spent sitting here, staring at the screen.

There endeth my morning take on this whole mess called life.

you're gorgeous darling. and such a wonderful person. i hate that you're in pain right now. i wish i could take it away. maybe some naked pics would help right about now?

you take care of you! i'm serious!

Phaeroh,
I'm sorry things are so tough right now. What's got you kicking your single foot at 4am? I was up myself. Had I known we could have gone pantyhose shopping together. um. scratch that. Maybe we could have gone shoe shopping instead, at the only business that's open at 4am-- donut shops.

I lay first dibs on the Boston Creme Donuts. They are most marvelously squishy between the toes and provide excellent arch support. You may prefer the powdered sugar if you have flatter feet. Don't you dare pick the old-fashioned, unless you're into that 'vintage' look.

All joking aside,
What's up? What's got you down? Is there anyway we can help?

You can tell us what's wrong you know? It doesn't have to be all kittentails and kitestrings on this board. It can be real-sucky-life too

you like hugs?
lemme know and I'll send some your way

Sorry that you're feeling so sucky right now. I never did get in on the Vera Wang and shoe discussion - I've been out of the dressing up loop for some time now (I vehemently dislike how I look no matter how it's disguised), but this is not about me.

I do, though, still have all my belly dancing outfits, and the jewelry to wear while dancing. Haven't had the chutzpah to attempt to dance for a couple of years. The last time I even watched someone else dance, I started to cry, so I know I have a ways to go before I can get back there. But the outfit went back into the DressUp drawer - not thrown away. I do aspire to getting kitted out again, and dancing (for myself and a mirror, and nobody else). Where did that woman go, who could put those clothes on and whirl with such abandon? She's in here somewhere.

You're in there somewhere, Fayeroe.

((((((you)))))) Another chance to be gentle with yourself today. And maybe I will do myself the same favor, just for today.

Sucky is a good word.

I'm just not at a level to operate.

Feel as if I am underwater and have lost my way.

Thank you all for supporting me. I need it.
