self esteem

Posted by snapper on July 7, 2006, at 4:39:02

A lot of the time my self esteem is soooooo bad that when I get finished writing a great post ( at least that I perceive it to be and I lose it) some how........I feel like a f$%^&*ng brainless mental invalid. I just did this. It is not a serious re-occuring issue but because of my cognitive and memory problems, and apathy, it just seems like it is totally un-worthy of trying to re-write it.........OCD makes it even more pointless! I guess I will try later

Hi Snapper,

I delete posts intentionally because I hate what I wrote and then beat myself up for not posting it. Then try writing it again and delete it again. I did it twice with this response to your post. Beter hit submit quick.

Hope breakfast was good.

A way to guage your posts after you submit them of course is to see what the responses are. If they are good a good post. Love Phillipa

This happens to me several days a week. Other days I seem to have more confidence in my own words. I don't want my posts to be inappropriate,

OK so I typed a whole bunch of stuff and then deleted it again!

I want my post to contribute, to add something to a thread. Sometimes when I can't find the right words, I doubt that what I have to say is of any worth.

I just deleted a post, because I thought I was babbling--delete many of them for that reason-- even if this is psychobabble, I feel that I shouldn't babble.
