Does anyone have experience with it? What is a good starting dosage and a good target dosage?

Inositol didn't help me, but I react poorly to drugs and supplements that affect serotonin. One of the inositol studies for OCD had its subjects take 18 grams a day. You certainly shouldn't start at such a high dosage. Maybe start with one gram a day, and gradually increase it. Here's a list of possible side effects from inositol:

Hi, Lamdage,
I ordered/purchased inositol powder several times about ten years ago. You have to take (as the other poster said) 18grams to 20 grams a day (according to those studies they did in the early 2000s) for several weeks for it to work. Me, I always got paranoid and gave up mid-trail because if I'm putting that much of a supplement in my body, I just want to be sure it's safe, and considering much of it is made in China, nope, I just can't do that.
