I've tried Earthing (also called Grounding) and I can really feel it in my brain. It's relaxing. This is from the Earthing Institute website:
The Chevalier-Sinatra study involved monitoring test subjects before, during, and after 40-minute grounding sessions while seated comfortably in a recliner chair. It confirmed a balancing effect on sympathetic and parasympathetic function and a restoration of normal tone that reduces the stress response.

Also, Earthing reduces inflammation, and it is thought that depression is frequently caused, or at least exacerbated, by inflammation.
