seems like a bulk thing i should be able to buy w/o paying for a supplement version?
is there proof it helps as an emulsifier and phospholipid?
i'm typically vegan, and apart from the fish oil am still vegan and am trying fish oil again due to desperation, so the fish burps *really* bother me. i am even, er, excreting some oil obviously when i going to the bathroom and i'm not necessarily taking high amounts. many studies mention higher doses.

I am really having success with chia oil (in capsule form). I'll eat a teaspoon of chia seeds in the morning with my shake for the nutrition they provide, and then a capsule of chia oil (which I may up to two). For some reason, fish oil was sketchy for me. It would affect my sleep adversely, and make me too agitated. But the chia seems more even and I feel "supported" by it, if that makes sense. Sleep is same as it ever was: not great, but not waking early like on fish oil. Plus it is WAY cheaper than fish oil, has tons of vitamins and protein, and no risk of mercury.

thanks. i do really want to return to something vegan, but i need to be functional to get there. dha is necessary in the regimen i am attempting. algae equivs are not in my budget. but thank you for the recommendation. this may not even work anyway fish oil practically passes through me. i feel like an even sicker science experiment. i can't tell what is causing this. it would be very hard to try to elaborate now, even a summary of my whole situation, but thank you for replying.
