My doc had been out of B12 for a long time and just got some in. His old stuff must have been off, possibly out of date. I never have felt so much energy after a B12 shot. Anyone take B12 shots? Would love to hear anyones thinking about B-12 injections pros and cons.

I had a few B-12 injections ten years ago. It's true, they're very energizing, but I'm very sensitive to stimulants. I'd feel wired for hours after an injection, then when it wore off, I'd crash and feel lousy. But I can't even tolerate caffeine.

I didn't notice much. My urine went bright red, or something like red. The form of B12 I used had a very strong colour.

I had several B12 injections a few years ago. Not good. I wish I could share a pro story with you, but my experience was a con story. Energy yes, but along with it was a caffeine-like jitters anxiety, lousy sleep, horrible nightmares, and waking up in a panic.
Looking back, knowing what I know now, it wasn't the B12's fault. It was the dose. Whatever the common injection dose is, well it was too much for me. If I ever do it again I would ask for 1/8 to 1/4 of what a normal shot usually is.
This is the end of the thread.
