According to psychiatrist Daniel Amen, 3 supplements should be included in a regimen: a multivitamin, fish oil, and a Vitamin D supplement if levels are low. Since adding a multivitamin (Centrum), my moods have been much better throughout the day, especially when I take fish oil with the multivitamin. I think it's a worthwhile investment for your health, especially if you suffer from depression/anxiety. I'll admit, I have to take medication as well, along with vitamins C and E, selenium, and some of the B vitamins taken individually. The multivitamin only has very small amounts of the B vitamins, so I have to supplement with larger doses of B1, B2, and B6. Just thought I'd put this out there for anyone suffering from mood swings or depression.
