hi morgan,
Just wondering how your muscle fatigue/soreness issues were going? I just saw your response to Tomatheus on a thread from a few weeks ago and was concerned. Have you tried high-voltage pulsed elctro-magnetic field therapy for your physical issues? I do this therapy for a living, working mostly with horses, but also on some people. It has amazingly positive effect on most. If you are in the area I'd be happy to help. Check out my website for more info www.naturalequinesolutions.com I'll be in FL during the winter months and planning to move to NY in late spring. Sooo, if you are at all interested, just shoot me a message, I am happy to help, or see if I can find someone in your area who also does PEMF.
Best of luck

Hey thanks for your interest. I live in the Washington D.C. metro area. If you do know someone that uses this therapy in the D.C. area I would definitely be interested in contacting them.
Yeah, I don't really know for sure what is going on, but I think I have an idea, that is, if it is not an autoimmune disorder, Lyme, or some other illness.
I'm only 37. I know changes take place at this age, but you shouldn't go from nearly invincible to the condition I'm in in just over 3 years.
So now I'm going to do a little research on high voltage pulsed electomagnetic field therapy! Thanks again!

DC...hmmm. I'll make a few calls and let you know. I don't think there is anyone in that area. I do travel up to NY from KY and may have another trip up that way before the year is out, and I will let you know if I do.
For now though...have you tried Traumeel and Zeel (find at www.iherb.com)? They are homeopathic formulations with a good reputation. You can get it in the little sublingual pills, as oral drops, a topical and as injectible (though this foem is not advertised), We use it on the horses a lot too. It gives very effective results for pain/inflammation.
I know you are really thorough, so this is probably something you have already looked at, but are your electrolytes in balance? That can really effect muscle fatigue. You already know about Resveratrol. What about harpagophytum, aka Devil's Claw (herb)? This is also a strong analgesic/anti-inflammatory.
e-mail me though, I have an idea.
hope this helps!

I should try Traumeel and Zeel. I work in the wellness department of a local organic market, we have both of those products. Injectable form? Really? I'll have to look for that online. Are you talking about injectable form of Traumeel or Zeel?
I may also try devil's claw, we have that at the store also. I tried Wobenzyme and I just didn't notice anything significant so I stopped. I take a strong turmeric supplement for many reasons, one of them being inflammation. I think I noticed some anti-inflammatory response with Turmeric. I take fish oil too, I think it helps some, but I mostly want a mood boost and cognitive boost along with the potential long term benefits. I know there are other things that I take and have taken that are anti-inflammatory, I'm just too lazy to go through the whole list.
The neurologist I am seeing checked my electrolyte balance. I know this is just a one time test and may not be indicative of what is normally going on. Still, I feel I get all the minerals and electrolytes I need with supplements and diet.
This morning I woke up and everything was so weak and stiff I just wanted to go back to bed. Ya know, my head feels the same way my body does, so there must be something going on there between the two. It's not like my head feels alert and clear and I want to get up but then I get up and my body doesn't work right. This is how I felt sometimes in the past when I played too much basketball and my legs were sore and my plantar fasciitis was at it's worst. I think neurotransmitters are at least one major player here.
I will babblemail you. Thanks so much for your interest! I still haven't looked up the therapy yet. I'm going to do that right now : )
