Adapton Rocks too!

Posted by former poster on October 2, 2010, at 9:42:43

It's making me broke however. So expensive! About $36 a month. Make sure you take it on a empty stomach. It makes me emotionally stable. Warm and fuzzy relaxed feeling. Sleep improvement, Sociability improved. Iherb.com has it for $18 for a 2 week supply.

This is very interesting

I remember being interested in Adapton years ago, then I forgot about it
It works on Endorphins, if I remember

I wonder if this is one of those amazing overlooked supplements like Phenylpiracetam?

Does it affect mood (as opposed to alertness) favourably?

Seems to effect mood profoundly. I think it's a mood stabilizer. I notice this every time I run out. After about 4 days I become very moody, irritable and have problems with sleep. Since it is so expensive I'm reluctant to order more. I often wondered if it is just a placebo effect. Now I'm pretty much convinced that its not. When I do start taking it again I feel much better. I also think it improves libido and E.D. I've tried all the fish oils but this product seems to work much better. I also keep taking the Omega-3 fish oil in addition to Adapton.

IIRC, it is made (shall we say) from a fish known as garum amoricum.
I found this......

> One of the more interesting of these nutritional products is Garum Armoricum (Stabilium), an historically ancient extract of fish viscera (internal organs) of certain deep-water fish species, the preparation of which dates back to ancient times. Developed by neolithic inhabitants of the Armorican peninsula (westernmost France) and refined by Celtic Druids, Garum was adopted by the Romans as a broad-spectrum elixir that could be used to help the aged or infirm, or more to their political purposes, to strengthen their soldiers prior to long marches or combat.

Phenylpiracetam + Racetams in general

Posted by BrainDamage on October 5, 2010, at 8:34:27

Someone asked whether I have tried Phenylpiracetam:

In answer: Yes I have & I loved it!

I have tried a large number of nootropics, DMAE, Ginko e.c.t.
Most of them are (for me at least) a waste of time.

I have tried Piracetam-Aniracetam-Oxiracetam
Aniracetam & Oxiracetam did nothing

I'm currently on Piracetam as I write this post & it does seem to be helping a bit.

Phenlypiracetam is different though, a feeling of clean energy & motivation is what I remember.

I'm not trying to Push Phenylpiracetam, if I had a supply I would keep it for myself, since its very hard to get hold of :(
