I have been seeing some positive results with taking a broad-based amino acid complex at bedtime, along with my other supplements. It took a good couple of weeks, but I've been noticing some increase in energy and a slightly more positive mood. It seems very subtle, but noticeable nevertheless. I never really did well with taking mega-doses of individual amino acids, but a broad-based amino acid complex seems to help. I've been doing this for about three weeks. At first, I was taking the amino acid complex during the day, but I noticed that it made me kind of dopey, so I tried just taking it at bedtime with other supplements, specifically, Niacin, vit. E, P5P, melatonin, and calcium. I seem to sleep very well. During the day, I rely on P5P, calcium, vit. B1, vit. C, vitamin E (100IU), fish oil (small dose), and borage oil. I just thought I'd share this with everyone of you bipolars out there. :))
This is the end of the thread.
