Posted by g_g_g_unit on August 24, 2008, at 3:59:26

hey i wanted to give inositol one more try for OCD @ therapeutic dose before going back on meds. i remember taking it in the past and feeling dizzy, yet thought that might;ve just been a coincidence, but today i took 1 teapsoon and sure enough have felt lightheaded for most of the day. is there any logical cause for this?

I take inositol! It is great for anxiety and depression for me, but it makes me VERY tired
and winded when I exercise. And weaker too. Generally I am pretty strong and have a lot of endurance.

But it really does help me overall...

hey, the startup dizziness went away pretty quickly. i worked my way up to 4g/day; thought it was having some effect but after i stopped i felt the same as when i was on it. unfortunately, due to finances i couldn't afford to continue the trial, as the only inositol available round here comes in 70g units (powdered form) which i burned through pretty quickly, meaning that the targeted 18.g for ocd was totally unviable. macfishy .. strange about the endurance thing .. i get antidepressants messing up my exercise metabolism bad but didnt notice anything on inositol
