Limbrel substitute

Posted by Cecilia on January 22, 2008, at 5:18:55

Racer mentioned another prescription "medical food" in the Health forum, Limbrel for osteoarthritis. I've never heard of it, but she says it works. Anyone know anthing cheaper OTC that would be similar? I already take fish oil, flax oil, glucosamine, chondroitin, cherry supplements, lots of vitamins. Cecilia

Maybe boswellia, a natural antiinflammatory, frankinsense (maybe) the NSAID of the old world?

Also curcumin from tumeric, antinflammatory like ginger.

I take this and it is REALLY good for arthritis.

I have osteo, and need this or the inflammation would get out of hand. It did once and I ended up in hospital on an antibiotic drip and was on antibiotics for a month. My knee had to be drained and all the grisley stuff.
