Hi,
I would like to give my Mom some Q 10 to prevent side effects of statins. She also takes aspirin. Does Q 10 have an effect on blood coagulation? Does it have a thinning effect?
TIA,
Nellie.

CoQ10 has shown impressive synergistic effects alongside statin drugs, and a major study showed no novel adverse effects from the combination. Make sure her doctor knows about the added substance.

Her doctor says she is not familiar with the effect of Q 10 or the benefits of it, but I have heard enough to assume she should take it.
Best wishes,
Nellie.
