John of God?

Has anyone here ever visited John of God in Brazil? He is considered one of the greatest healers living or dead. I am wondering if anyone on this board has ever made the trip down there and what their experiences were. Also, has anyone had someone else bring their photo to him for him to do remote healing? (I have done this, but have felt no benefit yet.)
