hey larry, i'm glad i asked you for advice, because my highly regarded, [in some circles, lol]
psycopharmacologist knew nothing about nadh, or whether added dopamine would effect my ocd. she actually told me to "stop worrying about my brain chemistry so much",[ this is the woman who touted prozac so highly]and that she mistrusted anything natural or from health food stores.
she said it was fine though if i wanted to continue to "chase the magic bullet" to help my depression, [she said nothing pro nor con about nadh] and said the sooner i returned to full-time work, [i am working 4 hours nightly at the moment] the better i will feel. the session would have been laughable except i had to pay out of pocket for it, lol, so i will continue to take nadh along with my prozac, and post my results weekly. so far i beleive it has been excellent for my motivation and mood. i've always taken natural, complimentary herbs and vitamins with my meds, so her opinion had no signifigance, but i was amazed how she knew nothing of nadh, nor had any interest in knowing!! i guess she still hasn't recovered from the time i asked her if it was safe to take high dose buspar with serzone, and she never took the time to research it,[luckily i did!!]. so happy to be here on the alternative site!! peace....john berk
