Hello
Where do people buy picamilon and niacinamide?
I typed picamilon into the Australian Google search engine and apparently it doesn't exist! The health food stores don't stock it locally either.
Thanks
Sabre

Hi Jimmy
Since posting this message I've had a look on and found this site: http://smi2le.biz/They said they would match any other price listed on the Internet.
I don't know what they are like but I'll probably try them.

Hi Sabre,
Yeah..most things don't exist in Oz.
Hey a local GP even told me that homocysteine doesn't exist in Australia <g>I have to get P5P from the US..only "straight" forms of vits in Australia..and only cyanocobalamin or hydroxycobablim too.
Just looked at that web site..postage looks good. What is picamilon supposed to do? I haven't been into the notropics..as I couldn't see where to get them from either.

Hi Jan
Here is a web site I found about picamilon:
xxxThey said it was a Russian 'invention' and is made by combining GABA and niacin into a single molecule. I suppose that helps the GABA over the blood brain barrier.
I have some GABA and niacin and was wondering whether there was any home recipe for fusing the two???
Picamilon cures everything according to this. I just want it to kill anxiety.

Sabre,
Apparently, at 50 mg, 3 times a day, Picamilon is supposed to be as effective as Valium in treating anxiety. At 100 mg, 3 times a day, it has a stimulating effect, but apparently without increased anxiety. If you do a google search for Picamilon on Psycho-babble, who will be able read of others' experiences with it.
Good luck.
Tamara

Sorry, I just wanted to add that niacinimide at 500 mg, three times a day is supposed to be effective in treating anxiety.

Sorry, but I thought picamilon was a supplement, not a prescription drug??
Thanks

It is. But I think that particular website links up to an Offshore Pharmacy that sells medication on-line without a prescription. I made the same mistake, and another poster pointed it out to me.

Maybe it was because the capsules also had theanine. I purchased them from smi2le.net along with some other stuff. They seem to be a reputable company as far as I can tell.

>The Theanine could be the reason you are not finding the Picamilon stimulating, but I can't say for sure. There are other natural supplements that are supposed to be good for energy and motivation, as well as for memory and concentration. I am going to be trying a couple once my order arrives. The products I am going to try are: Enada NADH, DMAE and Acetyl L-Carnitine, which I have ordered from iherb.

Thankyou Rick and Tamara,
One thing I'm curious about is how you go about determining which supplement is working and which isn't when you take a few different ones.
Do you constantly reassess what you take?I dropped SJW a couple of days ago because I ran out of it and haven't noticed any difference.
I definitely noticed anti-panic and energising effects from Tyrosine so I have kept it going. Although I do feel more nervous and shy at work I don't actually progress to panic. I'm hoping the Picamilon might help out here.As the smi2le.net site didn't get the XXXX treatment...I can assume it's okay!!?? Thanks for that.

Nah nothing gets beer around here, probably just means dr Bob has different sleep hours to us :-)
I've asked him below like why?

Well you might like the picamilon and theanine combo, theanine is supposed to be calming. It's cheap enough to try but you wouldn't be able to see how you like them seperately.
Good Luck
Rick
