i've been using trazadone for sleep, but now seems to work less, after more than a year
i know someone who switched to benadryl on doc advice and it works for them
what about side effects? long term?
any thoughts appreciated

Benadryl often rapidly leads to tolerance. My experience was it worked great one night, tapered off over the next two, and no longer works, period, no matter how seldom I try it.

> ggAbout 10 or 11 percent, actually. The only way to know is to "do the experiment". I'm sorry you're in the smaller group. Valerian keeps me up all night through. Not worth the smelly socks smell, fer sure.

I think you just identified what my pre-natal vitamins smell like (and unfortunately taste like when they cause me to burp...not that I've tasted dirty socks!!!). Yuck! Add the smell of old beer and I think that's right on.
