Here's some info about valerian and link to valium plus doses http://www.drugstore.com/pharmacy/ayp/questions.asp?label=1191. i have no idea what brand or dosage i was taking...this was four or five years ago, and i used to take it all the time. (i don't do much otc, recreational or w/o my pdoc now.)d

There isn't anything alternative that is as potent as valium, I'm afraid, but there are supplements that may help. See:

You may also want to give Passion Flower a try.It has a benzo like effect.
