You have cell pathways that are activated by phoshylasation and deactivated by dephoshysation.They turn on and off all celluar processes and are activated by calcium and calcium compounds.The G protiens bind with an atp molecule to form GTP.This brings the signal into the cell.It goes all the way to the nucelus of the cell and activates enzymes and DNA transcription and mrna transport to the ribizones.Fish oil effects these pathways and fights mental illness and cancer.PKC is the enzyme that controls brain chemical release.It is activated by DAG and calcium.It is hyperactive in mental illness.Fish oil restores calcium homestasis and stops this hyperactivation.
