Inositol hasn't been found to curb mania, just depression. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So you admit the possibility to change your brain chemistry taking 'natural' supplements. Your point is worth listening ... but why do you have to hurt people to clear it up ?

If you play the "mad anti-psychiatrist" the only result would be that less people will listen to what you have to say.

Moreover, if depression is a created illness as you posted somewehere else why do you suggest fish oil ?

Maybe because you think that it has less (or no) side effects compared to Prozac and because you think it's more efficacious than Prozac ?

This can be true or false (or true for someone and false for another) but it's a different issue.

At last I would like you to think about the fact that not everything which is natural is "good" and everything which is not natural is "bad".

Stramonium is natural but is dangerous.

Coca is addictive but is natural.

(and so on)

What is natural and what is not ?
In another meaning of the term "nature" we are part of it just like sheep and everything we do is part of it. Even creating Prozac was "natural": where do the scientist take the stuff to make Prozac ? ... in nature of course.

Pardon me for my poor English.

Actually, flax oil (which was recommended by my psychiatrist) did upset my stomach.

Ron,
FYI
It is not the best idea for men to take flax oil. I know some research has been done and it has been said that flaxseed oil can accelerate prostate cancer tumor growth.

Flax oil is not equivalent to fish oil. See:
