isn't it one he's posted before? or perhaps i'm having a deja vu...
it weirds me out a little...
i said something before about cutting off my nose to spite my face...
i kinda think: if i had a nose like that...
but it kinda looks like a foot...

Someone suggested something that wasn't that nice so thought I'd see if anyone else sees what this person sees. As it's possible. And how are you Alex? Phillipa

dr bob wouldn't post something that might be interpreted as x...
or dr bob wouldn't post a picture of x??
i thought it could have been a foot...
i think... from memory... it was part of a bigger picture... where the context made it more likely to be... interpreted as a beak.
part of the appeal of art is the ambiguity. the fact that we can let our imagination play a bit. different people have different memories... art can evoke different things... what is sinister to one is mysterious to another... etc.
i'm not sure in this one whether he's focused on something external or whether he's... removed. defocused. thinking. concern? remorse? furrowed brow or just the viewing angle? biting his lip? sad?
i think he's sad. but maybe that's me.

Where are these pictures from? Any idea? Don't think Babbler's artwork or famous painting. Will look at chest again. P

No clue. Avoid looking.
I like all kinds of art from A-Z, pretty much. But normally I have more choice to walk away or close the book or webpage. My gripe is the place. On Babble, every single time you changes boards or scroll up....no :-( Too yucky for me.

hmm. i didn't even notice that about his chest. funny how different eyes are drawn to different things...
i don't find this one disturbing, really. i found the last one a little more so. the guy... he reminded me of a pig. like how on far and away those people turn into piggy people. he reminded me a bit of that...
this one... i get vulnerability from it. which makes me feel a little queasy... but the piggy thing seemed worse...
i'm fairly sure these are parts of a bigger picture... that bob has posted them before. it was something bigger... cubist? i can't remember, honestly.

Looked vaguely familiar from an art class I took a few years back.

Whole bunch of jungle paintings. I like these very much, for the most part. Don't really give a darn about the images of people, but love the animals and all other details.

I don't know about that. I sure wish I knew tons more about art. Sometimes I just have a good memory for random things :-)

Hello again, btw.

Hello. So glad you're back and relatively better/healthy. Gets weird (for me) with so few "old" ;-OO posters here sometimes! I don't say much, though. Know better. Usually.

I have slowed down the use of the "submit your post" button. Isn't self censoring full of freedom?? Uh...don't answer that.
