Not sure if the new pic a Mountain Goat? Any others who know art that can guess who drew this and what it depicts?

I love Picasso...generally. I have a Picasso calendar hanging in the next room right now. Funny that first one struck me so badly. I'll to think about it more.

Context perhaps?
What may be appropriate in a museum, or in a place where one is expecting to see such things, it may be fine. While when clicking on a mental health site, where there could conceivably be some sensitivity, where it isn't really expected, it could be entirely different.
It didn't particularly bother me. Nor would I race to a museum to see it. But it bothered me that Dr. Bob responded the way he did.

that actually looks like the mountain goat I saw on monsters and my mysteries in America on channel destination America....you know, from reading and seeing some of satanic images when I was doing research on Lucifer, those images of a goat with horns and looked half human....that's exactly what I thought when I first saw that.....I think the name is Basphomet...its a spirit entity the freemasons have something to do with....
but anyways I like goats.....I need a goat pet....

Yeah, I know it was the context. I really do want certain parameters here and I expect them. (A bit silly considering the sum total of my experiences here, no? )
Plus, it's my view toward physical intimacy portrayals - art, music, film - whatever, which for me, I prefer not to see blatantly...hinting is far more effective and beautiful. Others nearly always assume this is due to repression, thinking nudity or sexuality is 'dirty,' being too old, or something like that. But it's just the opposite. It's the preciousness and holiness that forms my view. Too much base stuff in our culture.
Not that that drawing falls in that category - it was pretty mild. It's just like you said, I didn't get to choose and it was *here.* I may have a bad visceral reaction to exposed breasts/nipples, not quite sure why. We all have something.
I wouldn't race (though for Van Gogh, I would!)to any museums for that one, but I might eagerly go for other Picassos. (And with any exhibition, you can pause for a couple seconds and move on, whereas here I must see it each time I open the pages.)
Well, I have digressed from Admin quite nicely...thanks for the help :-)
This is the end of the thread.
