I think it hurts the forum when entire threads are deleted because they contain a post made by someone who is supposed to be blocked from posting.
If the posts cannot be excised surgically from the thread, perhaps the linked HTML pages themselves can be made blank and a note added saying that the post has been deleted and perhaps why it was deleted.
I would prefer that nothing be done but to block the new posting name from any further activity, but leave the thread intact.

I agree and was told quite a few blocked posters are posting under new names. I only know one of them? Phillipa

I agree too....but like Lou says...the terrible Hsuing prevents us from disclosing information even in worst times to blocked posters
