Could you possibly make "send a copy to yourself" the default for babblemail?

I forget to check it sometimes then have to wonder whether I forgot to check the box or accidentally closed the window without checking.

My OCD would really appreciate my having to go out of the way to not have a copy, instead of vice versa.

Smart idea. Now why didn't I think of that ? ;-) (nm) » Dinah

I think it makes sense to have the default be no copies like no babblemail, but it could probably be another setting, how about that?

That'd be great. You mean, I could check a box in my settings so that I wouldn't have to remember to send it to myself each time?

My OCD mind thanks you.

Right. I've added it. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you,

Nope.

Not working.

Does it rely on cookies? Because I reject Babble's cookies.

Thanks for working on it.

Yes, because it displays the checkbox before you enter your posting name. So it can only tell who you are (and whether you have that setting set) if it's in a cookie.

Back during the hack, didn't you say that it was safer not to have cookies on? I've been rejecting Babble cookies since then.

I got all upset yesterday about it again. I wish it was the default.

It's probably safer not to have them on, and Babble doesn't require them, but having them on does enable extra features. So there's a trade-off.
