and when the baby girl was being talked about at first, I was still seeing Dr. Bob...... *scratches head*.... wonder why that is..... (is it according to time zone maybe??)

Just refresh (use reload button on your browser) your page. Computers will sometimes show an older (cached, I think) version of pages unless you manually refresh them. It's not the time zone :-)

I knew my granddaughter would have to go eventually...{sigh} but it's okay as I see her in person every couple days, and she is actually CUTER than the picture anyway!!

Not a fan of this sort of picture, (it's hard to look at for my sensitive brain) but I think maybe Dr. Bob likes to play with photographic effects.

gotta run...

Looks more like Pee Wee Herman to me... (nm)

nah, not so smart, just so old I know stuff - just by living.....:-O Not to mention spending waaaay too much time online....!!

What do you see now?

Time to refresh? ;-)

Cool one. Never seen it before. Guess Dr. Bob didn't want to look at Pee-Wee any more either...

...why does the figure on the right...."his" (I think?) nose looks like a lightbulb....it's kinda weird...

((No offense intended to anyone reading here, present or future, who views themselves as having a lightbulb-shaped proboscis, or any other larger shape - I'm sure yours is lovely - I adore Cyrano...))

I'm really just hoping to get Dr. Bob to post about the new logo, or whatever you call it...:0)

I'm not sure what you mean by your comment 10derheart......... it seems like a diss... --definition of fickle: not constant or loyal in affections.

if so, who is fickle?.... me?....
please, please explain-- I'm bewildered.....

Sorry, I was talking about/to Dr. Bob. It's why I didn't check the box to direct the post to anyone on the thread. But I shouldn't have assumed everyone would know that.

The meaning I had in mind was M-W's:

": marked by lack of steadfastness, constancy, or stability : given to erratic changeableness"

How Dr. Bob will leave a picture up for months on end, then that one with the red "logo" lasted maybe 24 hours - right after the other one of himself lasted - what? - a few days!! "Dr. Bob, make up your mind!"

I hope I wouldn't post a disrespectful remark toward another poster - at least not knowingly. (In Dr. Bob's case, I am pretty sure he'll know I am poking affectionate fun at him.) I'm glad you asked, and *I* didn't mind, but if I may put my 'deputy hat' on for a second, I have a bit of (unsolicited, I know) advice. It's probably better if you wonder if someone has directed a negative comment toward you to leave out any speculation about their negative intent - e.g., "it seems like a diss." Another poster might have reported that part to us through the Notification button as possibly uncivil (they could feel accused of dissing you) Everything else you wrote was great - the best thing that happens here is when posters have dialog to clear up misunderstandings. I just recommend you leave out parts like that as I do hate to see newer Babblers running smack into the civility rules!! Please take this in the way I intend - *only* to help in the future, NOT to criticize.

Well, I hope Dr. Bob doesn't change the pic again today or I may need a neck brace from him making my head spin! Lol. Of course, I am teasing him as it's his site and he may play around with it any way he likes :-)

-----flutterby: OH! I didn't undestand-- thank you so much for explaining.

-----flutterby: hmmmmm... really? I had no idea that part I wrote could be considered uncivil.... eeks! I get so confused here. *sigh*.... thank you for trying to explain this to me.... not sure I understand, but I'll keep working on it.

------ flutterby: Yes, I will, thank you.

-----flutterby: I think this is key for me.... maybe I lack a bit of sense of humor when it comes to poking fun at others.... I get lost in translation.....

thank you 10derheart, as always, for your kindness and patience. :o)
