Is anyone interested in my reaction to that?

Yes, PJ, I can't get it up (hmmmmmmmm) and therefore wonder if they are experimenting with my mind, which will not bother me much because on my good days I don't have one.

Sigi it's not there so no Alzheimers. Bet Dr. Bob is going over the posts. Try the other boards. Social psychology, meds etc. It will be back soon. But you don't sleep or go to sleep early. Love PJ

I don't know why, but for technical reasons sometimes the board goes blank. It can be fixed by redirecting a post to it from another board, which I've done and it's working.
Anyone can do it.
It's also true about posts, tho I've never been able to figure out how to post a followup when my screen is blank.

I can't answer your question, except to say that sometimes posts come up that way, too. They later return normally, and I expect the Politics board will, too.
I have informed Dr Bob, though, and hope that he will address this as soon as he can.
By the way, when those posts come up this way, I know that it's not something Dr Bob is doing. It's something to do with the technology itself. I used to use the basic script that this forum is based on, and it had trouble with what we called "gremmies" -- gremlins devouring posts now and again, if multiple posts were submitted at the same time. It may be that this is another gremlin, one I didn't encounter when I had my little forum.
I hope that helps.

In reply to I still can't get there, Dinah......thanks..Pat (nm), posted by fayeroe on November 9, 2008, at 13:52:00
But if it doesn't for you, reply to my message, directly under "Enter your post" there's a dropdown list for Board:
Choose Politics, hit no message, or write a message - either way, and then hit submit. After that you should be able to read Politics. I'm reading it fine now.

I am beginning to think that this isn't a "political day" for me. That didn't work, Dinah. I'll try to get by without it. :-(

Try getting there indirectly. If that link works, you can use the links on the top of that page to get to the main board.
This is the end of the thread.
