I think it would be great if we had a forum, or section for drug monographs, along with a section where we "rate" the efficacy of medications... just a thought.

It is already well established.

I would still like to see a board with positive drug experiences, how long it took to work and with any other meds or alone. I realize that when meds work people stop posting maybe they wouldn't if they had a board with positive experiences. Love Phillipa

A section called "medication" where we can download/view the original drug monograph would probably answer a lot of basic questions (including potential side-effets) and more complicated information ranging from chemical structure to metabolism.
I believe this information is far more important than "books" or "parents" or "writing." Although all these forums DO serve a purpose, there still remains no real source here for the original drug information.

Right. Monographs are under copyright so I do not think Dr Bob can host them, at least not without $$ and red tape. If at all.

Hmm, thanks for your suggestion. Would it just be a depository for monographs, or would there also be discussion? And would there just be monographs, or other information, too?

Having access to the original, complete monograph on this site, would function as an education tool (metabolism, chemistry) and lesson the incidence of "basic" drug questions throughout the forum.

OK, it might be less "cluttered" if there weren't discussion, too. But why just monographs from drug companies and not articles, other web sites, etc.?
