Dr. Bob and others I know we have a Newbie board but we throw them into the tx resistant babble main meds board. And that's rough. I was thinking since when people get well they leave. Wouldn't it make sense to have a board for the successes of meds? So people who come here don't think they will be depressed or anxious or whatever forever? I know I'd love to hear of a person taking a med and it works. The people are out there functioning in life.I know a lot will say then why would they come to a med board if there meds are working but I think they might like to share successes too. What do you think? We do have more deputies now sorry gg, Dinah, Clear Skies, Racer, Auntie Mel. That's five that's right I think. Anyway thanks for maybe considering it. Love Phillipa

Thanks, gg :-)
Sorry I'm not around as much as other deputies, or posting as a poster, for that matter....too much IRL work lately, and Internet troubles, and....well, blah, blah, blah. It'll get better soon, I'm hoping.

People are sharing success stories now, on the main board, aren't they? I think I've read some, although I don't spend lots of time there. Maybe somehow we could encourage more posters to write about theirs?
Not sure that kind of board would get enough traffic to justify its existence, you know? because its stated purpose would be so closely related to the meds board....and we do have 21 boards, I think.....hmmm

10derHeart how can we convince them see that' s the problem I've heard of posters who when the posted success received nasty babblemails. But I do see a positive now and then . Seriously 21 board? Could be incorporate it on the self-esteem board or newbies? Not a lot of traffic on either from what I've seen. I really have no answer. Love Phillipa

That's a good point, what if they were collected in a new folder at Psycho-Babble Tips?

you are right, there is a lot of skeptism about drug success on the babble main board.
I personally don't think my success with Prozac is the result of me living in some dream world.
It really helped me to feel better.

Maddie I just took my first dose of prozac this am. Starting very low at 2.5mg since I've had so many bad side effects to meds being prescribed to high will up as I see the results. See I know a lot of babblers that would benefit as they are better. And guess what three are effexor. Love Phillipa thanks for supporting my idea. You just made me feel better about my decision seeing that it helped you which boosts my hope.

So does anyone still like my idea of a success story board? And not all tx resistant as stargazer suggested on the meds board? Love Phillipa
