Posts from posters who are currently blocked are deleted. So you got notifications for those posts, but in the meantime I deleted them and now you're getting an error message.

Hi Phillipa,
I did read a few of them, most were copies sent all over the boards. They were basically very noncivil post to dr. bob using more f words that I have ever used (and I thought I had the record) for the issue of blocking policies.
The thing that is bothering me now, is these posts get taken off the site so quickly, but when I want some of my not too proud momements deleted, they aren't. Seems like a double standard if you ask me. If I said the exact same thing as the post this morning, and got blocked for saying it, the post would have remained on the site. But I am not going to get my panties in a wad about it though, I have too much too do for my test tomorrow. LOL

I believe the only posts removed are when they are posted by someone already blocked and using another name.

Are you allowed to say what board this person usually posts on? As mine were from social and meds. And I just wonder if I said something to trigger this person. So if the blocked posters posts were removed couldn't we know if we had been on that thread or threads. I know a lot of posters well some don't like me posting all the time so would like to know if I triggered it? Love Phillipa

I don't think there is any way to know for sure who it is even for Bob. He just guesses and he says himself he doesn't know who any body is. I know some posters have been blocked for in excess of a year because he guessed wrong.
I don't know who it is either for sure but I didn't read any complaints about anything but Dr Bob's actions. I don't think s/he was upset about you! I hope you are feeling better. I was so mad at that pdoc for not seeing you. I hope things work out for you!

hope it didn't take too long to delete them (there were about a thousand, weren't there?). thanks for being the garbage collector at babble. it's a tough job, but i guess someone has to do it huh?
(if i were you, i'd let mr bob put on the rubber gloves and clean up his own trash next time :)

Please think about the feelings of the person who posted all those posts. Did you read them? I didn't think they were garbage or trash or that someone should wear rubber gloves to touch them or to block this person. I felt very sad that someone had been hurt so badly by Bob's decisions. I think this person is still part of the community whether s/he is allowed to post or not. I think Bob and others would do well to think about how traumatic it might be for someone who is fragile and sensitive to be cut off from this community.
I hope things are brighter for you today FDB. You're a good person.

asorry, guess sensitivity isn't a strong trait for me first thing in the morning.. perhaps i could try to reword (to further express my intention)
i didn't me to imply (or outright say) that the poster wrote garbage or was garbage. heavens no. what i just meant was to pay tribute to dinah for taking so much time to *clean up* for mr bob. not that those posts needed to be cleaned up, but by the civility guidelines on babble, the poster in question did have an uncivil name, therefore needing to be *cleaned up* (that's not even the right word.)
either way, my bad and sorry f*ck_dr_bob. i didn't mean to sound so rude. (and if you need to talk to someone, feel free to babblemail me.)
