Oooooh Ducky- you're feeling feisty!
I think you're awesome!
How come you only hang out on this board?
I would love your participation in other places too :(
I only come here rarely, and many times, Ducky is the only reward for my visit. I just wish I didn't have to go to such a dangerous place to hang out with you ZZDucky.
fondly,
-Li

Think me thick if you wish...
Are you implying that Hsuing rhymes with 'sung'?
Can you make a limeric with homophones?
Can anyone else throw some light on this subject?
???

I would never ever think you thick! I was only guessing. I'm sorry if I sidetracked your thread. I too await his answer!

I'm no expert, but I usually have a good memory for this sort of thing. And I'd say zz is quite correct in rhyming those words with Dr. Bob's name. I say that because I remember during the 2006 Babble trip in Toronto, Dr. Bob pronounced his name 'shung' (or very close to that - phonetically) when he introduced himself before his APA presentation.
Just my best recollection....:-)

My husband is chinese.
If Bob is chinese, then maybe this communication 'thing' is a chinese thing?
Cuz sometimes my hubby communicates badly. Just how he words stuff doesn't quite come out right somehow.
Hmmmm.
I REALLY tired.

Just in case you were wondering, the recording says, "Little Bear" in Mandarin. I didn't even need my Mom to listen in. I knew that first syllable meant "little".
Hehehehe Dr. Bob, are you a little bear?
(((((((((((Bear)))))))))))))
