I'm guilty! I've broken rules & intruded upon sweet thoughts! :(
Are the following correct?
1)Somewhere on the administration thread there is a compiled list of trigger words and subjects.
2)Do not follow up one thread more than three times to allow for other people to follow up.
3)Do not jump in and babble someone w/o being invited.
4)Use an asterisk, the word trigger, followed by another asterisk if you feel you have used a trigger, i.e. *trigger*
5)If you feel someone else has used a trigger in a post, and you are the first to follow up (or second to post), at the end of your subject line ... use an asterisk, the number 2, the word trigger, followed by another asterisk, i.e. *2trigger*
6)There is not a 'code of conduct -or- rules and regs' to read on the site, other than here on Administration.
Really, really appreciate anyone who has time to correct me where wrong.
Tks, cf ;]

Well I think #3 is wrong. Anyone can put in their two cents worth, and all input is generally appreciated....

> 1)Somewhere on the administration thread there is a compiled list of trigger words and subjects. There is a list of proposed trigger words. I don't believe it has yet been made Babble law.
> 2)Do not follow up one thread more than three times to allow for other people to follow up.
There is a three consecutive post rule. It could be starting more than three posts without any posts from anyone else in between. It can be three posts on the same thread without a response from someone else. But there's an exception saying you can respond to people individually on a thread. And there are several other exceptions.
> 3)Do not jump in and babble someone w/o being invited.Nope. You are encouraged to jump in and babble someone whether or not you were invited.
> 4)Use an asterisk, the word trigger, followed by another asterisk if you feel you have used a trigger, i.e. *trigger*
The rules aren't final, but it is considered Babble etiquette to use the word trigger in a post you think might be triggering. And possibly a brief description of how it's triggering. Like Trigger - Violence. It isn't necessary to use asterisks in any particular way, although it might be nice to make sure the trigger warning is noticeable.
> 5)If you feel someone else has used a trigger in a post, and you are the first to follow up (or second to post), at the end of your subject line ... use an asterisk, the number 2, the word trigger, followed by another asterisk, i.e. *2trigger*
I don't believe there is any set format at the current time. You can just say anything that points out that a post may be a trigger.

Yes, there is. There is the FAQ on civility.
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
You probably won't find the proposed trigger rules in there because they're just proposed at this point.
