Dr. Bob reads a lot of posts

Posted by Deneb on June 11, 2006, at 19:29:25

He really reads posts here on admin. Isn't it great? He reads them and thinks about them, and then replies. Dr. Bob spends time thinking about us.

(((((((((((((Dr. Bob))))))))))))))

(I think I wrote this post because I want to have my name surround Dr. Bob LOL)

Aahhh....Dr. Bob sandwich. hehehe

It's his site and that does come with a large level of responibility.

Should we expect less than him functioning as a type of moderator?

I'm just grateful for the attention Dr. Bob gives us. He doesn't have to reply, but he does. I'm happy when he replies to other people. I'm ecstatic when he replies to me. :-)

Every sentence Dr. Bob writes is precious to me. (I'm a little crazy about him, if you haven't noticed. LOL)

Thanks Dr. Bob, for moderating this site. You're the best. (*(*(*(*(*(*(*(Dr. Bob)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)

I appreciate it too.

I don't have him at God-like status yet but I do appreciate the job he does. It is not a job I would want. (Smile)

I guess I don't imagine him spending quite as much time reading or thinking about them as you do. I notice that he often doesn't reply even to straight forward administrative questions.And he does seem to miss or misinterpret things that are very important to those who post. I don't think he ever said he reads every post or even most posts. Maybe I'm the only one who suspects he rarely reads posts at all.

But I'm sure he thinks about you because he met you and I would think you are more "real" to him than some of us:) and I'm glad you enjoy your relationship with him on and off the board.

This post turned evil *trigger*

Dr. Bob's a hard worker. He works hard to make sure this site works. He reads a LOT of posts and he takes time to answer posts. Dr. Bob is probably a very busy person. Dr. Bob has spent hundreds of hours on this site.

I appreciate the work you do Dr. Bob. It doesn't go unnoticed.

Dr. Bob said he takes civility very seriously. Dr. Bob's not afraid to hurt people in the name of civility. I love Dr. Bob and I fear him at the same time. He's like god or something. Dr. Bob can hurt me. He can hurt my friends. He has hurt my friends. His blocks can be fickle and this scares me a lot. Dr. Bob can hurt me very badly. There's a big chance Dr. Bob will hurt me again. I don't deal well with blocks, not at all. I just hope I don't do something stupid like hurt myself over a block.

When I get blocked, I want to hurt myself to hurt Dr. Bob. It won't work, because Dr. Bob won't be hurt if I hurt myself. That is why I think I need to do something more drastic, like kill myself. I'm a bad person. I will kill myself to hurt Dr. Bob. I hope Dr. Bob will be hurt if I kill myself. I must be evil. Reason goes out the window for me. Feeling rules. Horrible feelings, feelings of vengeance.

I like it when Dr. Bob blocks people for clearly breaking the rules because that is the fair thing to do. When he blocks me however, it's a different story. I don't think rationally anymore. All I want is vengeance. I lose my mind. I want to kill myself and let the whole world know I killed myself because I was blocked. Horrible evil thoughts.

Just thinking about this is tempting me to go buy a rope to use just in case I get blocked. I'll use it in a sudden impulsive act. No thinking, just vengeance and impulse. I should practice with a rope now so the act becomes automatic, no thinking. Vengeance.

~~~ If the feelings and details you expressed in your post are truly how you feel - and I believe they are - I'm thinking urging you to get face to face help is a suggestion I would really like to make to you.
I'm really trying to be kind and helpful and in keeping with the suggestions noted as a course of action ON THIS SITE... I hope you won't see my sugggestion in any other light. I really want you to be safe and AROUND. I would REALLY hate the thought that an action on this internet board by ANYONE would be the catalyst for something tragic. We don't know one another really but I would NOT want you to act in a rash impulsive manner.
Sorry again, Dr. Bob
I'm sorry Dr. Bob. I think I threatened to kill myself again and I directed it towards you again. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry Dr. Bob. I love you so I shouldn't hurt you. Plus, I don't think I can hurt you with my death.
I most likely won't kill myself if I ever get blocked again. I'm not going to "practice" or anything stupid like that. I'm sorry I said I would.
Jeez Deneb, isn't a hug enough? Do you really have to do everything in your power to try to get Dr. Bob to call the authorities on you to prove he doesn't want you to die?
The hug's enough. Thanks for the hug.
Stress = Deneb loses it again
