The writing board

"Please feel free to post your own fiction, non-fiction, and poetry;..."

Re: non-fiction

Does this include opinions re: psychiatric treatments ?

How about lists of links to information of a controversial nature (pro or con about psych treatments, the history of psych., etc..?)

What about the use of rhetorical questions when writing fiction (an entire story of nothing but rhetorical questions)?

I'm asking for preauthorization to avoid being considered uncivil.

Thanks

That sounds like a fun read. Like Stephen Wright! Why would that be uncivil?

Yeh, Wright's stuff is great.

Is making fun of, or critizing some therapies similar to doing the same for religions? Uncivil? I don't think so ... but ...

I would guess that the same civility rules apply on the writing board as elsewhere on the site.

Otherwise everyone could just use the writing board to say what they couldn't say elsewhere.

Thanks. I agree with Dinah. Also, it's easier to preauthorize someone more concrete. Like an example of what you have in mind or, even better, a draft. But use babblemail or email to run something like that by us (or another poster).

How do I get Dinah's email -- I don't have Babblemail ?(I'm assuming you meant her when you said us).

I think he meant by any of the deputies or him, or by all of the deputies or him, or by another poster who has agreed to be your civility buddy.

Deputy email addresses are in the civility FAQ.

Thanks. Deputies rather than moderators? :)

More clearly delineates responsibility and chain of command. :)
