I think he needs to add you to some list or other so that you can post there. He'll probably let you know once that has been done.

I'd love to greet the newbies too, tho' sometimes I'm more active than other times, so I hope that's ok.
I know how welcoming I have found it to be welcomed by 'older' members on other boards and I'd love to return the favour.

Can I just say I am so pleased that I started this thread.
I am so glad that others are joining the bandwagon that got me going here in the first place. This place saved my life, I truely believe that, and the Newbie Board may just do the same for others.
Thanks to you Dr. Bob, and Thanks to me for getting others on the bandwagon.

:-)
yeah, looking at the list, and considering different circumstances in people's lives, etc., I thought maybe it had dwindled down to only 2 or 3 mostly.
Spread it around, I say, and it should be a bit easier. I'll surely have days I just won't be able to, but not too often,I hope...

Yeah.
Nice to have more people over there.
It can be hard to figure out what to say sometimes...
Sorry I haven't been much help lately...

I don't think you owe any apologies to anyone.
You do what you can when you can.
You've greeted lots of folks.
Done your share and then someReading what Dr. Bob wrote about it, I'm sure he doesn't want it to burden anyone or feel like a big chore, etc.
Nope. That's why we need more greeters.Yeah, I can imagine how after a while
Thinking what to say could get harder and harder
But then the newbies help out by giving
A little more info about themselves...and bingo!
Some common ground.I think what really counts is not being ignored.
Being acknowledged is huge, ya' know?
Here and IRL.
Of course you know.May you always be kindly, promptly and properly acknowledged, Alex :-)
(ps - 'course, that might mean running like h*ll away from certain mental health *professionals,* LOL)

Am I ready to be a greeter people?
I'm kind of guessing that I'm not ready to be a deputy just yet.
I wanna be a greeter!
