Where is the line between offensive and opinionated? I consider it offensive that we waste so much time and energy on post screening. In my opinion, Dr. Bob, I feel the board would be much more useful if you were to chime in with learned insight instead of spending your time auditing the posts.

er -- nothing offensive meant in the prior post, btw! Just a difference of opinion.

I agree with this idea. Perhaps an upgrade to the board Dr. Bob? There are some really nice free board applications out there that have features that allow posters to ignore certain members and/or allow a user to alert the administrator of the board of a post that he/she feels is offensive/rude, etc.I think everyone on this board can agree that what you have provided (this forum) is an invaluable tool - and are grateful that you continue to do so.
What do you think?

Actually, you bring up a valid point. Often we are here fumbling trying to figure out things and Dr. Bob's insight would be useful.

That's been suggested before, but I think there's a more supportive atmosphere if those members adjust how they post...

There was actually a thread on admin not to long ago about installing an "ignore" feature, I'm all for it. Here's a link to the thread:http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/admin/20041218/msgs/439440.html
