MKB

I know that my comments are a bit late in this thread but I am just reading it now and wish to make a comment in response to yours that I have quoted.

I think your comment is putting Lou down and inappropriate at best. I would also like to question why you have chosen to put quotes on the word respond in your comment to Lou.

I also have seen that you are banned for posting for a few weeks and are unable to make any response to my comments and for that I apologize in my timing.

AG,
You wrote,[...I think your comment is putting Lou down..why... quotes on the word respond?...]
If we look at the comment by the poster in question,[...you need to {get over this feeling} that you always have to "respond"...],I guess you put yourself in my shoes in a sense.
Well, I did take notice when the post was written and did feel sad when I read that.
Can I assume that someone else, as yourself, also feels that the statement in question has the potential to have another feel put down?
Best regards,
Lou

AG,
In my previous post to you, I was asking you to consider the other aspect of the post in question,{... You need to get over this feeling...}and if that part of the post also could be felt to be putting me down also by you.

Yes, if that comment was directed at me, I would feel put down. That is why I made my comment.

Lou

I'm not sure what you are getting at in this question and how it differs from your previous but if I understand you correctly,

1. yes, I would feel put down by the entire comment.

2. yes, I would feel put down by the use of the quotes around the word "respond" alone.

Is this what you were referring to?

Ag,
I was referring to that there were two parts that when I read the post , I felt sad about. You wrote in this post,,[...I would feel put down by the entire comment...].
Thank you foe having the same feelings about the two parts of the post as I had, for someone else seeing that is important to me.

When posters are put in the stocks do we continue to pelt them with posts to which they can't respond? Isn't it enough that Dr. Bob evaluated the situation and blocked the poster?

I'm known for whipping a few dead horses - well it's a hobby really - maybe an obsession, and perhaps it wasn't just a few, but I always try to stop short of resurrecting the animal.

Hi Angel Girl, LOU I'm glad to see someone else noticed that. I saw it, and posted something to MKB about it on the Faith Board, but didn't draw attention to it over here, perhaps I should have.
It galls me that someone could take it upon themselves to tell someone else how they should be, unless someone is being rude, or cruel.
Especially on a board such as this one..

Verne Dr. Bob didn't Block MkB for that comment, I don't think he said anything about it. I understand what you're saying I think about it being in the past, but in this situation, I know if it were me whose feelings were hurt, I'd feel really good knowing that someone else noticed and cared enough to bring it up I think that's more important than whether it's a little late or not.

Gabbix2

Thank you for your response. I was just about to go back to the faith board to see what MKB had been blocked for. I didn't think that this comment was the reason for the block but since Verne commented that it was, I was unsure.

If it had been previously discussed on Admin, I was unaware of that. I saw a comment directed at a poster that I would not like had it been directed at me. My disorder leaves me very little self-control these days to keep my mouth shut so therefore I rocked the boat and spoke my piece. At least this time it was on a positive note, my lack of self-control pretty much always gets me into trouble.

Anyways, thanks for your input. Much appreciated.

I'm sorry I was so harsh. I'm in the middle of something terribly cranky.

Everything you said was probably valid, and everything I said was probably invalid - although I may have been accidentally and seldomly right on occasion.
