Hmmm, looking at a dictionary of synonyms online ... similiar words to "watch" in the sense in which it's being used could include:
Ascertain (Maybe too formal)
Check (This is almost as bad as "watch yourself"
Detect (I don't like it)
Determine
Discover (this carries more of the implied meaning, no?)
Find
Learn
SeeDiscover more about yourself?
Discover your progress?
See where you are now?
Learn more about yourself?Maybe another person can pick up the ball and run more with this!

FYI, partly the idea was that mental illness can in fact lead to unknown bad events... Anyway, thanks for the suggestions so far, everyone, keep them coming!

And perhaps the Watch Yourself is a regional thing, but around here it really is a parental warning reserved for public occasions with private consequences to follow.

Yes, mental illness can lead to unknown bad events but I would prefer not to plant any triggers in that direction. Not that the title would cause such a thing, just another negativity for me. In another posting I mentioned a concept called "Appreciative Inquiry" which is sort've based on the Pygmallion effect - people respond to images other people have of them. In a sense, I think that using more neutral or pleasant terms/descriptors is a more positive approach.

Babbletrac is good. It's kind of cutesy but it's good. It has a nice rhythm to it.

It would be nice if others gave options or opinions... I feel a bit, eh I don't know. Have a fuzzy cold brain and words aren't coming quickly...

I could go with either one too. The "trac" is probably a little more "cutsie" than "track" which is a bit more scientific. It's kind've an apples or oranges type of thing.
The word "babble" has always slightly rubbed me the wrong way as there's the inference of insanity and insignificance. I think Dr. Bob said in the Administrative area (or someplace) that he meant no disrespect, though, so that's good.

Babbletrac is a neat name, and would make sense to many of us into "babbling". I'm just wonder if something else, maybe just as a subtitle, would help make it clearer to those who arent familiar with babble-isms.
It would need to be something which links with the idea of following how you are over time, but not with the assumption that you will always be getting better. Not that there wont be times when things do get better, but just there are also times when we arent.
I dont have a wonderful suggestion for that- might just be something like 'How are you doing?'

1. The main idea here is just to track it over time. So if goes up, that's bad, and if it goes down, that's good.
2. I think scores have been shown to have some predictive value, too. I'm still looking into that, but didn't someone else post something along those lines?

And it's in keeping with the other Babble names, Psycho-Babble Psychology, Psycho-Babble Books, etc.
I guess it would be even more in keeping, but not nearly as aesthetically pleasing, to call it Psycho-Babble Track.
